Meet the Cast

Adam Myers
Meet Adam
Adam Myers is a local actor, writer, and theatre enthusiast from Northeastern Pennsylvania. When he’s not on stage, he’s busy writing plays and supporting the local theatre community. This time, he’s taking on his most out-of-this-world role yet as a UFO expert! He can’t confirm whether we’re alone in the universe, but he can promise he’s ready to investigate.

Brandon Michael
Meet Brandon
Brandon Michael has been an actor since high school and has appeared in many productions locally at Actors Circle, Diva Theater, and Intrepidus Theater lab throughout the last several years. This will be his first ever event at the Carbondale alien festival. He also enjoys solo hikes on the Appalachian trail and is a writer as well.

Chrissy Grunza
Meet Chrissy
Chrissy Grunza, has been with us from very first season. She keeps her theater roots by serving as co-manager of the box office at the University of Scranton, along with acting in the yearly Dunmore Cemetery Tour, where she helps bring local history to life.
Professionally she spends her days as the Assistant Director of Community Health & Aging for United Neighborhood Centers and is also know for her philanthropic involvement with Leadership Lackawanna and the Abington Rotary Club.
Whether working behind the scenes or performing for an audience, Chrissy loves being part of the storytelling experience and celebrating the power of theater to connect people through art, history, and community.

Dana Jackson
Meet Dana
Dana Jackson Burke wears many figurative hats and few to no literal hats. A Dunmore native, she lives in Scranton with her husband, Kevin, seen here playing a teenager, and their two disaster mutts.
She is a member of IATSE Local 329, Secretary of the Board of Directors at the Music Box Dinner Playhouse, Office Manager at the Linn McDonald School of Dance and very tired, in general.
Can be found in the wild stage managing (Music Box, PTPA, Scranton Shakes, Scranton Fringe, LTWB, and anywhere else her best friend Ciarán happens to be directing), directing (Dunmore High School), and performing (Music Box, Gaslight, PTPA, RIP Ghostlight).
Approach quietly, with matcha if possible. Does not like surprises.

Jason Narcoonis
Meet Jason
Jason Narcoonis is back for a 2nd round of the Carbondalien Festival. He tried his hand at acting when he was 16, stunk up the joint, and vowed never to do it again. Then, four years ago his lovely bride muse convinced him to give it another go. Now, he co-owns a Murder Mystery and other fun events company called It’s Curtains For You, serves as the Treasurer of Actors Circle, and does oodles of random theater stuff.
