The Zooks are a curious race of tiny extraterrestrial tourists known across the galaxy for their endless fascination with other worlds, cultures, creatures, and oddities. They travel in swarms and whenever the Zooks arrive somewhere new, they descend all at once in an excited frenzy before quickly scattering in every direction to begin exploring.
The Zooks are obsessed with collecting experiences and when whispers of the UFO crash landing in 1974 during last year’s festival reached their side of the galaxy, Carbondale became a must-see destination. To the Zooks, the mystery, local legends, annual celebrations, and generations of humans proudly embracing the unexplained make the town one of the most fascinating tourist attractions they’ve seen yet.
During the 2026 Carbondalien Festival, sightings of the Zooks are expected to increase dramatically as they flock to Carbondale to witness one of Earth’s strangest celebrations of extraterrestrial culture.
